Handicap index limit – 30.4 per player
Semi-final and final to be played as soon as is practicable after the 30 June on a neutral course.
Venue and date to be notified as soon as possible.
- Foursomes knockout played over 18 holes.
- A team will consist of three pairs (not necessarily the same players for each round).
- Details of the draw will be issued around June for the following year and will clearly indicate the cut-off date for each round and the home and away club.
a. Played off handicap –full difference between the two teams course handicaps (team calculation is 50% of combined course handicaps). - In ALL rounds, including the semi-final and final, all games will be played to a conclusion under normal match play conditions i.e. each game must be won/lost. no halved matches. If, however, a clear match result has already been achieved, the match captains may call their players in.
- The result of a partially completed conceded game to be whatever the state of that game is at time of the concession.
- No extensions to the cut-off dates for each round will normally be allowed. If the home course for any reason is not available/unplayable, play to be on the away course. If for any reason the match cannot be played by the cut-off date, a result will be determined by the toss of a coin.
- In the event of a whole match concession, the opposition will progress to the next round
- Trophies presented to the winning and runner-up teams. Medals will be presented to the winning team.
