Royston Ladies make the 3 year hat-trick in the Jean Wilkinson Trophy
There was an early start for the Semi Finalists of the Jean Wilkinson Trophy this morning... teams from Saffron Walden Golf Club, Royston Golf Club, Brampton Park Golf Club, The Links Golf Club, had to travel to Ramsey Golf Club to play and the weather in true English style threw everything at the players... instead of a balmy late summers day they had to endure low temperatures and gusty winds. The morning rounds saw some very tight matches but Brampton Park and Royston came through to meet each other in the afternoon final. As is often the case it came down to the last match to decide who was triumphant... and..... ..Royston pipped Brampton to the post This is the third year in a row that Royston have won the trophy ... Well done to them and well done to all the Semi finalists too
